Jonathan Segura

Founder & Managing Attorney

Jonathan Segura founded SEGURA LAW on October 6, 2025, with a single goal in mind: to provide the highest quality legal representation to renters in Los Angeles.

Mr. Segura has been licensed to practice law in California since May 2015 and is also admitted to practice in federal court before the United States District Court for the Central District of California. He brings over a decade of exclusive eviction defense experience to his practice, having served as a Senior Trial Attorney at BASTA, Inc. — one of Los Angeles's premier tenant rights organizations — before founding SEGURA LAW.

Prior to his career in tenant-side eviction defense, Mr. Segura built a strong foundation in litigation and public service. He served as a law clerk for the Los Angeles Superior Court, where he was assigned to two long-cause felony departments at the Clara Shortridge Foltz Criminal Justice Center in downtown Los Angeles. He also gained experience as a law clerk with the Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office (Hardcore Gang Division), the Federal Public Defender for the Western District of Washington, and the Society of Counsel Representing Accused Persons (SCRAP) in Seattle, Washington.

Mr. Segura earned his Juris Doctor from Seattle University School of Law in 2013. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Loyola Marymount University, with a dual emphasis in Management and Business Law. A proud lifetime resident of Los Angeles, he is also a graduate of Loyola High School.

A native Californian, Mr. Segura was born in San Francisco and has called Los Angeles home since infancy. He is married to Danielle Segura and is the proud father of one son, Roman.

Danielle Segura

Chief Operations Officer

Danielle Segura serves as the Chief Operations Officer of SEGURA LAW, where she oversees the day-to-day operations and management of the firm. Her leadership ensures that every client experiences a seamless, professional, and welcoming environment from the moment they first contact our office.

Mrs. Segura brings over fifteen years of management experience to her role, with a career rooted in healthcare administration. She served for over a decade as a Case Manager at Valley Presbyterian Hospital in Van Nuys, California, where she developed deep expertise in complex case coordination, organizational management, and client-centered service. Prior to her tenure at Valley Presbyterian, she worked as an independent contractor specializing in the drafting, revision, and finalization of medical contracts.

Mrs. Segura earned her Bachelor of Science in Health Administration from California State University, Northridge. A native of the San Fernando Valley, she was born and raised in the community that SEGURA LAW is proud to serve.
